La Strada has brought us a selection of silk pieces that have mesmerised us. If you've been loving the popular Margo Dress, you will love the Zaria Top as another option.
With its silky sheer overlay, which drapes softly from the shoulders and over the body, with a hem that hangs longer on either side. The front curves up to reveal two small layers with raw edges to create natural fringed effect. The jersey underlay is ultra soft and comfortable against the skin and provides coverage under the sheer overlay. The white is so soft and pretty on the complexion. A beautiful piece for special occasions, especially in springtime.

Given the delicate and lightweight nature of the silk blend chiffon, your garment will arrive crinkled from travelling in the post. Unfortunately we are unable to avoid this. But with a few steps it will look just as beautiful as it does in the photos. We recommend giving your garment a gentle hand wash and then air drying it on a hanger. Finish it off with a light steam or a cool iron on the reverse side.

Guaranteed to make you stand out in a crowd, this lovely cool dress is fully lined, had elbows length sleeves with a good width in them, falls below the knee and has the pattern on the bodice outlined with tiny white beads. It has a mandarin collar on a split neckline. Three rows of deep red lace define the waist and skirt. I love the green cactus motifs and the deep cherry red colours.

I bought this on spec as I needed a plain white top to wear on stage for a choir concert and knew it would be stinking hot under the stage lights. I was worried that it would look too casual (even ironed it!) but the moment I stepped out in in I was deluged with compliments from everyone. It skims the body beautifully - doesn't swamp as a lot of tops like this tend to. It was so comfortable and really is very pretty. I am going to consider picking up one of the floral versions too.

Gorgeous and pretty and would look beautiful on the right person. Sadly it wasn’t me so returned it for a refund. It was extremely light and cool but not sure how it would wash as have had bad experiences with silk in the past. But on the right person would look fab specially with the silk pants.
