I have this slip dress in black and the royal blue. The blue is a lovely deep shade and the fabric manages to skim my body without excessive clinging. It was a little too long for me but was easily shortened. It looks great with a kimono or light cardigan. It will be a very useful addition to my wardrobe. I also have two other patterned slip dresses and would love more. I just can’t have too many!
Lovely dark purple colour & texture. A snug fit I’d recommend wearing a slimming petticoat under it. To iron out any little bumps showing. I feel going up a size would have spoilt the straight line slimming effect, much easier to wear the petticoat under. It is an easy to wash & wear must have for any wardrobe. Can be dressed up or down with heels or sandals. I’ll be wearing mine with floaty contrasting or matching jackets/capes. Would be good for travelling as light, easy wash & dry & mix & match with variety of accessories, to change up the look. Highly recommend. Will get in other colours if available.
This is a very versatile garment. I purchased for two reason. One as a slip for under maxi dresses. And two as a dress under a jacket - fabulous look and three since a I have now purchased this at the same time I purchased a Gemma Top (Soft pink floral) which has allowed me to now have the Petra Slip as a Skirt with the Gemma top. 3 outfits in one thanks Tulio.
Matched this dress with a light cardigan. Fits well, BUT might be better if it was made of crinkled type of material? I would buy this type of dress in a chocolate if it was crinkled?
