Introducing the Alessandra Silk Dress, sister to the exceptionally popular Margo Dress by La Strada. The Italian made design features a beautiful floral pattern in shades of green and white, creating a sophisticated and elegant look. 

Taking inspiration from the flapper dresses of the 1920s, this stunning silk blend dress features a skirt with layers the curve up to one side for an elegant look with a touch of playfulness. Combined with the asymmetric silky overlay and soft, supple jersey underlay, this is a dress that truly looks and feels luxurious.

Notes About Your Silk

Given the delicate and lightweight nature of the silk blend chiffon, your garment will arrive crinkled from travelling in the post. Unfortunately we are unable to avoid this. But with a few steps it will look just as beautiful as it does in the photos. We recommend giving your garment a gentle hand wash and then air drying it on a hanger. Finish it off with a light steam or a cool iron on the reverse side.

So Feminine.

Sooo happy with my new dress. It’s really hard to find a feminine dress that will take you to the races and then out to dinner or a lunch on the water. This dress ticks all of my boxes. True to size and so comfortable.

Alessandra Silk Dress

I brought this dress for my 85yo mum to wear to my brother’s wedding. It’s beautiful and fits her so nicely. The only criticism is that the jersey underlining is pink and is visible under the top layer of the dress, as it is only single layer and sheer. If the jersey underlying could change to a deeper colour that would be my suggestion. This would then make the underlining ‘invisible’.

Alessandra silk layer dress dark green

Absolutely gorgeous dress, light and flowing and very flattering, love the colour and love the stretchy fabric slip underneath it gives me that little more room around the bust area with comfort. The dress and colour is exactly like pictured. The sizing is true to size and the delivery was fast received my order within a week. Can’t wait to wear my new dress at the races on Melbourne Cup Day!
