The Italian made Loira Dress by La Strada is one of our all time favourite evening wear designs.

Crafted from the floatiest silky chiffon and soft supple jersey that drapes beautifully over the figure, for a luxurious look and feel. The silhouette is stunning, combining kimono sleeves, a wrap look bodice, fitted waist and layered, draping skirt. No matter what silhouette you usually gravitate to, you'll find that this shape looks absolutely incredible on everyone.

Notes About Your Silk

Given the delicate and lightweight nature of the silk blend chiffon, your garment will arrive crinkled from travelling in the post. Unfortunately we are unable to avoid this. But with a few steps it will look just as beautiful as it does in the photos. We recommend giving your garment a gentle hand wash and then air drying it on a hanger. Finish it off with a light steam or a cool iron on the reverse side.

Very satisfied with delivery time to Auckland, New Zealand- 3 days. Loved the Loira Silk dress. True to size even with room to spare because of the elasticised waist. I received many compliments when wearing the dress to a formal wedding. I hand washed the dress and there was a bit of leaching of colour but dried beautifully on a hanger.

Stunning dress

This is just such a beautiful dress. The material is lovely and soft, very feminine. I’m a larger, shorter lady, and purchased the 16/18 size, and it is very flattering and fits perfectly. I bought it to wear at a wedding, and I will probably need to have it steamed prior to wearing, especially as I will be travelling interstate and it will be in my luggage. I’m more than happy to do so as the dress is gorgeous.

Underlay

The "soft lightweight jersey underlay" is a horrible yellowy cream that totally spoils the silk experience for me, its a cheap and nasty way to save a small amount of silk, there is no other reason for it to be used, at least it could have been colour coded with the dress and not the awful cream colour,. I am very very disappointed in this dress.
